FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives Creator Taps into Beer
Orlando, FL: Page Productions, creator of the hit series “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on the Food Network, tackles the increasingly popular world of craft beer the same way DDD tackles the world of food. “Beer Geeks” (22 x 30’) will be hosted by Michael Ferguson, Director of Brewing Operations and Beer Training for BJ’s Restaurants. A leading pioneer in the industry, Michael will take viewers on a voyeuristic, inclusive and immersive road trip into the heart of an American passion, beer. The series will feature the inside story of making some of the world’s most unique, interesting, even outrageous and bizarre brews. It will visit breweries around the country in addition to going to locations that are part of the process in creating craft beers such as grain farms, yeast labs, berry brambles, caves, apiaries, archaeological sites and monasteries.
Beer Geeks will be offered for both cash sales internationally and barter syndication in the USA for the fall, 2013 season by The Television Syndication Company (TVS). For cash sales information, please contact Mary Joyce at mary@tvsco.com. For syndication information, please contact Lisa Romine at lisa@tvsco.com.
The Television Syndication Company is in its 23nd year of distributing programs worldwide. In addition to the five programs the company offers for domestic syndication, they have an international and US Cable catalogue that includes programs in the genres of reality, lifestyle, documentaries, travel, music, educational, children’s and more. Their catalogue may be found at www.tvsco.com
